I found my last drawing attempt while Marie Kondo’ing the heck out of my place. The sketch is 5 years old…and I haven’t put pencil to paper since.
It’s amazing the emotions you travel from simply de-cluttering.
Spring cleaning is filtering memories. And facing, remembering, deciding…is hard. We want to forget. We want to look away. We want to lay in a hammock beside the beach because forgetting is a luxury.
Truth – I bought the pencils happy. I drew this sad.
I’m unfinished. Through life’s ups and downs, we strive. We try. For but a moment, enjoy the growth upon your struggles. Today is the fruits of yesterday.
